2022-2023 School Year Registration and Procedure


Dear Parents: 


Welcome to the Torrance Chinese School! 


The first school day for 2022-2023 school year will be 9/10/2022, school hours are from 9:00am-12:00pm. The enrollment has begun (5/14/2022).

Registration Location: Registration will be done online at http://www.torrancecs.org/Registration/Student.

You will need to have an account to access the registration page.

Early Registration:

  • Early Registration Period: 05/14/2022 - 06/18/2022 (Online)

  • Tuition for the School Year:   $760 per student

  • Discounted Registration Processing Fee:  $0 per student

  • Payment Methods: Pay via Zelle, PayPal, cash or check (Payment must be received via Zelle, PayPal or cash by 6/18/22. Check may be submitted to PSA in person or must be postmarked by 6/18/22 to qualify for the Early Registration Special.)

  • Textbooks will be available on the first day of school, and students can/should go straight to the classroom and attend lessons right away.

Regular Registration:

  • Regular Registration Period: 06/19/2021 - 10/08/2022 (Online)

  • Tuition for the School Year:   $760 per student 

  • Registration Processing Fee:  $45 per student (Non-Refundable)

  • Total Tuition + Fee: $805 per student

  • Payment Methods: Pay via Zelle, PayPal, cash or check

  • Textbook availability depends on the inventory level.  In case of shortage, it may take 1-2 weeks to receive the textbooks. 

Registration for New Student

    Please apply for a new account and create a family profile via the online registration form.

  • New students will be required to pay $120 service deposit. Once you have completed your service requirement for the year, the service deposit will be rolled over to the following school year. It will be refunded to you on your child's last school year after submitting a Withdrawal/Refund Request Form.
    Total tuition + registration processing fee + service deposit = $925 per student.
  • Please follow the steps in the User Manual to complete the registration process.

  • If you wish to register for classes other than TK, SK or Beginner Conversation, please contact our registration staff at: vp_administration@torrancecs.org or psa@torrancecs.org. A class placement test will need to be scheduled to place your child in the proper class.
